Halloween Photos at LAST!

Canton Debauchery

Betzy had a delightful time Saturday night at the home of Paul Marte and television's Scot Haney at their annual Halloween Bacchanal.  This photo is just a teaser of Betzy in action.  Many folks were stunned and amazed by Betzy's limber legs and love of the camera.  Stay tuned for more photos.

I am enjoying this continued journey down misty memory lane.  I spent much of the long holiday weekend trying to upload more vintage Betzy video footage to YouTube.  It is very time consuming due to my lack of superior technology.  However, it will be nice to have all these archival film clips in one handy place.  Here is the opening footage of Betzy with a Z! co-hosting the Theatre Outrageous telethon in October 1998.  The quality of the video is not great so please bear with me.  I hope you will find a little amusement in it.  There will be more to come as the week progresses.

Finally, I don't know what I did but I finally made it happen!  The video is not the finest quality but it shows Betzy hard at work performing to Elaine Stritch's recording of "You Took Advantage of Me" at Wigstock 1997.  Would that I were still that skinny....

ABBAlicious Promo Trailer

Betzy is pleased to bring you the promo trailer for the ABBAlicious cd from 2004.  No, she is not going backward in time but she is figuring out some technological tricks.  Betzy is only in this clip a little bit but, ah, how she glows.  She's a damn natural!

Booze Costumes

This is how I imagine Betzy got her start in showbiz.  Either that or as a dancing cigarette pack.  Either way, her beginnings were lowly yet heartfelt.

This is one of my favorite portraits done by my pal Ian of dear, darling Betzy with a Z.  I'm proud that a print of this photo hangs in the Aisling Thomas Hair Studio on 14th Street at 9th Avenue.
